New Release - KIR267 - Yreane - Way Back Home w/ Remixes by Fisso & Spark and Kwerk

Major things have been happening for Kick It Recordings already in 2012 and we are keeping the ball rolling with another killer release! Kick It is proud to announce our first release from Moscow’s own Yreane with two top notch remixes from Fisso & Spark and Kwerk.

Yreane has been putting together a plethora of awesome tracks and I have a feeling “Way Back Home” will be a favorite of many a bass head for 2012. Right from the start you’re treated to the wicked vocals that Yreane used for this amazing track and just sixty seconds later he hits your right square in the earholes with one hell of a bassline! Short little dubbed breaks and monster wobbles on the back ends keep things interesting right through to the main breakdown where Asian-esque synths are the star player. Dropping back in with authority, Yreane works in some kick-ass scratching bits to bring the energy even higher, excellent!

First up on remixes we have the recently nominated for “Best New Producer” at Breakspoll 2012 – Fisso & Spark! These two Austrian natives have been pounding out enormous tune after tune and they have worked their magic on “Way Back Home” bringing us a Techy Breakbeat banger with a bit of a funky feel and super clean production, top stuff!

Last but by no means least we have Kwerk who turns in a monster remix himself. No stranger to Kick It, Kwerk proves why we keep having him back buy completely flipping the script on “Way Back Home” while still maintaining the hard edged vibe of the original, so good!

Free Track - Under This - Everfresh - Breaking News Remix

Whew have we got a kick-ass free track today from Russia's Breaking News!

Breaking News represent the new wave of artists who are equally talented in the studio and performing live and these guys have been tearing it up all over Russia and beyond for a minute now.

With releases on labels like Boxon Records, Bombeatz, Dusted Breaks and many more, Breaking News consistently combine Breaks, Dubstep, Fidget House, Nu Disco and Electro House into their own dancefloor smashing style that has earned them a reputation with artists like Westbam, Groove Armada, The Freestylers, Paul Oakenfold and way too many more to list.

This time around the Breaking News boys have returned with a freebie that will have you jumping for joy when you hear it. Putting their touches on Under This' "Everfresh" which was previously released on Digital Sensation UK about a year ago, BN prove why their name continuously circulates the charts.

Starting things off with filtered drums, the kicks really start to hit after a big time snare roll. Eight bars more and a quick vocal sample directs you to "get up" just before the thick and driving bassline takes over your coils. Retaining the funky flavor of the original but packing it full of Nu Skool business, Breaking News keep things interesting with Amen Breaks and an intense round of lasers to finish things off, loving this one!

Free Tune - Goober Gun - On The Beaches - Chamber Remix

Happy Monday everybody, I hope you all had kick-ass weekends! We're back at it today with another free tuna up for grabs and this time it's coming at you from last year's "Best New DJ" winner at Breakspoll, Dj Chamber!

Chamber is a globetrotting, award-winning Dj who has been touring internationally since the age of just 21. Originally from Bristol, UK but currently living in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Chamber has moved to Asia with the intention of rapidly expanding and pioneering the newly emerging Bass music scene across the continent.

Not content with his releases topping the sales charts of various major online stores, last year saw his profile rise massively with producer credits on video-game soundtracks, as well as being named the "Best New Breaks DJ" in the world at Breakspoll International DJ Awards. He is also the host of a highly popular radio show on NSB Radio "The Cluedo Homicide", and also 'head chef' of the award-winning Bass Kitchen club-night, making him one of the busiest Djs in Bass music.

Chamber has been dubbed a 'CDJblist' and achieved notoriety for incorporating a wide range of genres and styles into his DJ sets, production and club nights. He has already played across the globe alongside many of the electronic music scenes biggest artists, such as Beardyman, Orbital, Benga, Dilated Peoples, The Plump Djs, Dj Vadim, and many more.

With tracks coming out on Mutated Sounds, Kick It Recordings and Unstable Label as well as gigs across China, Australia, South Korea, the Philippines and Thailand in early 2012 alone, this looks set to be Chamber's year. His club-night, Bass Kitchen, has recently expanded, launching further international branches across Canada, Taiwan, China and around Europe, which will be booking some of the biggest Djs across the electronic music spectrum.

With a relentless work ethic, incredible skill behind the decks, huge amounts of potential and an impressive list of achievements under his belt already at only 23 years of age, Chamber is most certainly one to watch!

Most recently Chamber has put his production skills to work on Goober Gun's "On The Beaches" which kicks off with a dubbed out break and wicked guitar bits from the original which are soon followed by a tough and lfo'ed bassline. Sparsely using the vox, Chamber keeps them from feeling overdone and ends up with a laid back back but dancefloor friendly jammer that's is already receiving tons of support from Djs and blogs alike. Check it out for yourselves and see why.

Free Mix - Left/Right - Fight Mix

Who's ready for some Friday? I know I sure am and we've got just what you need to get you in the weekend mood, a free mix from Left/Right! After his highly well received "Flight Mix" which was enormously popular, many a bass head have been eagerly awaiting the second part in the series and we now have it available for you!

Chris Lund aka Left/Right has spent over a decade working from Dallas as a Dj, producer, and teacher... and even longer as a musician. His music has garnered stellar reviews from DJ Mag, Rolling Stone, BT, The Crystal Method, DJ Icey, and NAPT as well as charted in the top 10 at Beatport, DjDownload, Juno, TrackItDown, and the Hype Machine. With degrees in both music composition and audio engineering, Chris loves to create music and it shows in his work!

His exciting singles, innovative remixes, and pumping Dj mixes are released on notable labels like Sound Of Habib, Ego Shot, Downbeat, and Dusted Breaks among others. New Release - HGR003 - Feed The Granada

Hard Granada Records is back with another massive release for their fans. Featuring four wicked tunas from the likes of Sneaker & The Dryer, Sebastian Massianello & D.E.R. and label owner Botbass, this is one release that is way too good to pass up.

First up we have Sebastian Massianello & D.E.R. who turn out a denotative track in “X-plode”. If you like Progressive House with a big bouncy and Techy feel, you are gonna dig this one for sure. Massive leads and synths are properly balanced with a tough and grimey bassline to make “X-plode” main floor ready, big business!

Next up is Botbass blowing up your speakers in a big way with “I Like It” featuring amazing chords and speaker shattering low ends. The massive main breakdown will have hands in the air everywhere that this one is dropped and the tiny bit of vocal snips dripped throughout compliment the tough bassline perfectly, killer!

Next up is “Bout to Freak” from Sneaker & The Dryer which is a quirky groover blurring the lines between Electro House and broken beat, keeping things danceable and fun with a catchy hook that will easily get stuck in your head for days.

Finishing things off in a big way, S&D hit you with a vicious tuna that's more like a barracuda in "Give Up" which is pure Breakbeat through and through. Starting off with a funky break but quickly turning into a driving, heads down banger with big fills and just enough vox to keep things interesting, "Give Up" is going to give many a dancefloor a serious workout!!

Free Track - DJ Sharaz - Freak Out

I love having free stuff for our readers on Fridays more than any other day and I'm happy to say that we've got a huge choona for everybody today. The Sunshine State's Sharaz just posted up a brand new freebie about ten hours ago and it's already about halfway to it's 1,000 download limit so you better get on it quick like!

Having played alongside many of EDM and Breaks top producers and Djs, Sharaz has been a household name for a long time now. He was actually one of the first Breakbeat producers that I got into when I started moving in that direction quite a few years back.

Sharaz has been nominated for an IDMA as well as being nominated for "America's Favorite DJ" in the Breakbeat category multiple times by BPM Magazine. With 35 records and 5 CD's plus a slew of well known edits and remixes released, Sharaz keeps pumping out banger after banger so it's no wonder he's a favorite of many a Dj worldwide. If you yourself are unfamiliar with the one they call Sharaz, I have a feeling after hearing the track below, you won't be anymore.

Always having a taste for everything funky and feel good, "Freakout" enlists some heavy disco sampling to take you back to the days when John Travolta was winning the hearts of women everywhere. If you think this is your mom and dad's disco though, you are sorely mistaken. After a short and sweet intro, Sharaz drops you into the familiar vocals from La Chic with just a bit of FX on em to spice things up a bit. A quick little pitch bend on a vocal snip finishes off the first build and then it's all about the monster bass with more vowels sounding off then a round off Wheel of Fortune, can I get an A,E,I,O,U and maybe even a Y Pat. Why, cuz this track is the business! Grab it quick before the downloads run out and have a wicked weekend, Kick It!!

New Release, Free Track and Free Mix - MC2 - Beat Em Up

Crashing through your bass bins like a ferocious Electro, Glitch-Step, Daft Punk Symphony are French production duo MC2 and they're bringing a free track, mix and wicked 3 tune EP with them, duck and cover!

Hailing from Marseille, France, MC2 is an up and coming Glitch-Hop duet. Playing live with controllers joysticks and pads, they could easily be seen as a proper Rock band. Their music is a blend of Glitch-Hop, Dubstep, IDM and discrete yet strong Mediterranean influences.

Miosine and Ckel started making music together back in 2008 and quickly released remixes for the likes of Missil, Tambour Battant and Nasser on labels such as Boxon, Leonizer and Discograph. In 2011 they released their first EP on Marseilles imprint I.O.T, "Mcs Slicing".

MC2 soon joined the Château Bruyant Team alongside Tambour Battant, Niveau Zero, The Unik and Habstrakt and are ready and able to launch some new glitch bombs as well as performing furious live sets.

Storming into 2012 with a gargantuan EP, combining Dubstep, Glitch-Hop, sexy and lush French filtered orchestral, and cut up Electro, MC2 are hitting you hard with three big tunas.

"Beat Em Up's" intro is Electro P Funk synth heaven, crashing into heavily distorted bass cut up with programmed beats and computer game parps and whizzes.

"Feel Roll Ins" is a ferocious Dubstep judderer with fierce chops and razor sharp drums and sampling, Daft Punk on steroids!

"Computer Slave" is straight up Glitch-Hop with all kinds of funk in the trunk and one bad ass attitude! Sprinkling in delicate bleeps and a kind of 80's cop show film score drop, MC2 will have everyone's hands in the air with this one!

Support From

Afghan Headpsin - "Daft Punk for 2012!"

Akira Kiteshi - "Loving the new EP! I'll defo be dropping it in my sets!"
